Kimon is the former CRO for Bupa Insurance (UKI / Bupa Global). He was the approved CRO for the insurance operations in the UK and Bupa Global, and held the SMF 4 (Risk) and SMF 16 (Compliance Oversight) accountabilities. Prior to this, he was the Global Chief Compliance Officer (SMF 16) for the RSA Group and CRO for the UK and International business. Kimon started his career as an M&A lawyer working for Herbert Smith Freehills for a number of years, before moving in-house. Kimon has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and has managed some demanding assignments and regulatory interactions (Watchlists, Section 166s etc.).
