Natalie Druckmann, Head of EMEA at Certa.ai, challenges traditional third-party risk management (TPRM) practices by advocating for a risk-based, tech-driven approach.
She emphasizes the need for compliance professionals to shift away from the belief that oversight must involve hands-on review of every interaction, contract, and document. Instead, leveraging workflow automation and AI allows teams to delegate repetitive, low-value tasks and target resources where real risk exists.
This approach also significantly reduces supplier fatigue, a common issue caused by repetitive assessments and excessive onboarding procedures. By establishing risk thresholds—based on spend, service type, or geography—organizations can route lower-risk relationships through streamlined "green lane" processes.
Druckmann's ultimate goal is to make business relationships simpler and more efficient, helping companies operate with greater focus and less friction, while still maintaining robust risk controls.
For over 10 years Natalie has led the implementation of multiple TPRM transformation programs across both private and public sectors, managed live operations focusing on ensuring continuous compliance and drove organizations to future-proof their Risk programs. As Natalie gained experience in the TPRM field she became a go-to advisor when it comes to implementing Best Practice and providing consistent, measurable and target driven results. Prior to joining Certa recently, Natalie spent the last 3 years leading the global Risk and Performance SME team for Coupa Software supporting customers in their TPRM journey.
