Escrow has long been a trusted
tool in IT procurement for managing software risk, but with the rise of
cloud-based SaaS models, its role is evolving rapidly. Join Nathan Hopkins,
Chief Revenue Officer at The Escrow Company, as he breaks down the nuances between
traditional source code escrow and innovative SaaS escrow solutions. This
episode reveals how escrow helps organizations maintain continuity, especially
in complex third-party environments where uptime is critical.
Nathan also dives into
real-world applications of escrow in high-stakes industries like banking and
government, sharing insights on how SaaS escrow can safeguard against provider
insolvency, service disruptions, and regulatory pressures. If you’re a third-party
professional aiming to strengthen operational resilience and vendor risk
management, this conversation offers practical guidance and fresh perspectives.
