In this onsite interview, Jenna Wells discusses how third-party risk management is evolving from a specialist function into a broader enterprise-wide responsibility. She explains why organisations must move beyond siloed approaches and ensure stronger collaboration between procurement, risk, technology, compliance, and executive leadership teams to effectively manage growing vendor and operational risks.
Wells also highlights the increasing regulatory and operational pressure facing firms as outsourcing ecosystems become more interconnected and complex. She explores the importance of building a stronger culture of accountability and resilience, where organisations can proactively identify vulnerabilities, improve oversight, and respond more effectively to disruption across their third-party networks.
Jenna Wells is the CEO of Supply Wisdom, bringing a unique blend of military intelligence and corporate risk leadership to the role. A Boston native and Purdue University graduate, she served as a Signals and Ground Electronic Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, with training at the NSA and the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center. Following her service, Jenna led global risk command centers and third-party ecosystems at Wellington Management and Iron Mountain. She is known for her expertise in operational resilience, intelligence-driven risk management, and enterprise transformation.
