Climate Risk: Where's the Alpha?
As climate risk analysis becomes increasingly sophisticated, a key challenge remains: how to turn insights into action. This webinar explores where climate risk creates financial value across banking, insurance, and investment management, and where analysis still fails to influence decisions. Panellists examine climate value-at-risk, transition plan credibility, capital allocation, underwriting, lending, and the steps needed to embed climate considerations into financial decision-making.

Climate risk has evolved beyond a sustainability reporting exercise and is increasingly becoming a core business and financial decision-making issue. Panellists discuss how banks, investors, and insurers are using climate risk analysis to inform lending, portfolio construction, credit assessment, and capital allocation decisions, while examining the challenges of translating increasingly sophisticated analytics into measurable outcomes.

The discussion also explores how organisations assess transition plan credibility, identify climate-related investment opportunities, and finance emerging technologies. Speakers agree that the next stage of maturity will see climate considerations embedded directly into mainstream risk, investment, and credit processes, with future leaders distinguished by their ability to turn climate insights into practical action and financial advantage.
